OUR COMPANY

The story of Délices Surgelés began with an emblematic dish of West Indian gastronomy – dombré, much appreciated in Guadeloupe.
As its preparation is often long and delicate, Mr. Serge HAMOT, a baker by training, imagined and designed a patented machine to automate the production process, while preserving the authenticity of the traditional taste.

Under the impetus of Mrs Marie-Hélène GARÇON, his partner, this innovation led to the creation in 2007 of the SARL “LES DÉLICES SURGELÉS”, today recognized for its know-how in the production and promotion of frozen Guadeloupean culinary specialties.

Combining ingenuity, tradition and modernization, the company pursues its mission of promoting the richness of the West Indian culinary heritage through products that are accessible to as many people as possible, in Guadeloupe and far beyond.

WHO WE ARE

LES DÉLICES SURGELÉS” is co-managed by Marie-Hélène GARÇON (partner) and Eric CAIRO, ensuring collaborative management of the business.

Mr Serge Hamot, founder and majority shareholder and designer of the dombrés machine, has authorized its use by the company.

Major decisions are taken collectively at the Annual General Meeting.

OUR OFFER

Originally specializing in frozen dombrés, Délices Surgelés has expanded its range to include pizza doughs, bokits (another local specialty), as well as puff pastry and shortcrust doughs.

Backed by its artisanal know-how and state-of-the-art equipment, the company combines tradition and innovation to offer products of consistent quality, adapted to the needs of professionals and private individuals alike.

With its new industrial site in Gourbeyre, Délices Surgelés aims to structure a genuine agro-processing chain for wheat flour in Guadeloupe, and to develop the marketing of its products on a national and international scale.

2025

Official plant inauguration

L’usine Délices Surgelés a été officiellement inaugurée le 24 juillet 2025 à Gourbeyre, en présence d’élus régionaux dont Ary CHALUS et Marie-Luce PENCHARD. Ce nouveau site de 3 000 m² multiplie par cinq la capacité de production, passant à 100 tonnes de farine transformées par mois, grâce à une mécanisation moderne qui respecte les recettes traditionnelles.

2024

Start of construction of the modern factory in Gourbeyre

Démarrage du projet de construction d’une usine agroalimentaire ultramoderne à Galéan, Gourbeyre. La construction est assurée par le promoteur SEM Patrimoniale avec un cofinancement de la Région Guadeloupe, l’Europe (FEADER) et le Crédit Agricole.

2020

Bokit Pasta Launch

A l’écoute de sa clientèle, La SARL LES DÉLICES SURGELÉS élargit sa gamme de produits avec les pâtes à bokit, véritable emblème de la gastronomie guadeloupéenne.

2008

Awards for entrepreneurship in Guadeloupe

1er prix Concours Régional de la Création d'Entreprise 2008 - Secteur Artisanat, décerné par le Conseil Régional de Guadeloupe.
Trophée du prix de l'innovation 2008 décerné par la Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie (CCI) de Guadeloupe.

2007

Creation of LES DÉLICES SURGELÉS

Avec l'industrialisation de la machine, Serge HAMOT et sa compagne Marie‑Hélène GARÇON fondent alors officiellement Les Délices Surgelés pour proposer ces spécialités aux Antilles. Démarrage dans un format artisanal à Saint‑Claude (Guadeloupe), avec un atelier de production local pour dombrés et autres pâtes traditionnelles.

2000

Invention and patenting of the prototype dombrés machine

Serge HAMOT conçoit et fait breveter un prototype de machine à dombrés afin de faciliter la préparation de ce mets antillais traditionnel, particulièrement apprécié en Guadeloupe.
